Okay so yesterday I started feeling horrible!!! Was having a lot of pain when I swallowed and can't tell if it's gas or pain. Then I started getting nauseas we realized about this time that I am running a fever 101.6. We call the surgeon's office at 2 and again at 4 both times we are told he was in surgery. Yay. I am feeling much better but still have pain and gas so I am sleeping a lot due to the meds. Ended up staying 2 days in the hospital because of pain when I swallowed water. He wanted me observed to make sure it was better when I went home and so they could keep me hydrated. This was not as bad as I thought it would be but worse than I imagined lol. Hard to explain that. Will write more later when I am awake more often

Surgery tomorrow!! Not as nervous as I thought I would be. I am much more confident than I was when I went in for my band. Scared of the nausea I keep reading about wanted to thank everyone for the advice and support, you all are amazing. See you on the sleeved side!

Well I have 6 until days until surgery. Getting excited and nervous. I am sick of soup and my pre surgery diet, but I know better things will come. I have lost 5 pounds in 5 days. Is this on track or am I not doing it right? I guess time will tell. Good luck to all you having surgery this week!

Wow!!! 10 days until surgery!!! Hate this pre-op diet. I do great at night but work is a punishment or something. Feel like I am starving at work. Wonder what difference is? I have pretty much the same food and liquid intake at work and at home at night. Anyone have any ideas to help me out at work?
