I had my surgery on the January 23rd and went home on January 26th in the afternoon. They had me up for my first walk on Friday evening which went pretty good. Stay on top of your pain, you can have pain medication every 4 hours as you need it. My first week and a half was rough with the full liquid diet plus being nauseated. I went for my first check up on February 4 and everything is looking good. My starting weight was 247 and whenI weighed in I was at 229.7. He gave me the ok to start the blended part of the diet this past Friday. I am enjoying that better than the full liquid. I go back February 18th for my 4 week check up. Still trying to build up my energy. Definitely not ready
