Well im 6 days p/o just got home last nite the surgery went well 1st 2 days were rough mainly the gas bloating but went shopping the next day! Its hard to drink the amts were suppose to for protein I drink isopure gnc 42g and 2 scoopes of syntax nector 10g protein each scoope puts me up to 60g sip on that till gone advise is to walk walk walk do feel alittle weak today. the nursing care was good the hotel was nice! my husband loved the food! Hope this works my main goal is for my diabetis to go in remission! Thanx for all the support & ideas & helping on the encouragement part I was alittle scared got to Tijuana realized there was others like me! Look forward to sharing my wt loss journey. There a lot of good people on this site so positive!

Best wishes as you enter a new healthy and happier stage of your life. I'll be praying for you on the 29th. Remember to sip sip sip to get your liquids and protein consumed. Also take it easy for a few days you are having surgery so pamper yourself. Feel free to ask me questions, I'm no expert but I can offer you support. Good Luck!

lol..I hear ya on my liquid diet right now..feeding family and company, ham dinner, chilli, roast chicken...so not fair...but it really it's brothering me, just thinking of my new life and skinner, healthier days to come...I will keep you posted on how it goes..two more sleepless nights there I will be there..

I started and really though hard about going to Mexico to Dr Almanza last year. You will be fine and once its all over with you will be thankful for your sleeve. i'm still having a hard time getting my protein in and this is week 4 for me today and i'm down 31lbs since leaving the hospital. Just keep sipping no matter what and eventually you will get the hang of it. Only a few more days and you will be on your way to a sleeved new life.

I have to do a six month supervised diet for insurance purposes. My last appt. should be Nov. 28, so aim praying for a mid-December surgery date. They won't give me a date until I've completed all the pre-surgery requirements. I have met with two surgeons & am now pretty sure who I'm going with. I will post that soon. I guess I could go ahead & post my approx surgery date. Can it be changed later??? Thanks for asking about me!!
