- I was sleeved on June 17, 2014. I am diabetic II and thus my reason for the surgery. My doctors feel there is a very good chance I could get off of insulin and meds. I am really hopeful because I've been feeling awful lately.

Embrace the change...

I am three weeks out and am doing good. I haven't had any issues with food... No nausea, no spit up, or food sticking. My only problem has been constipation and a bleeding belly button. The doctor says to just let it drain but in the meantime, I can't exercise too aggressively. So I am stuck. I have lost 13 pounds and the scale is not moving. I need to pick up the pace because I am supposed to return to work next week. Although I am not sure he will let me go back with a bleeding belly button.
