You will not fail!! You made a great decision to have the sleeve done and if you follow all of the healthy guidelines you can not fail. I think you are doing awesome. Set celebrations at each mark so 190 is your next celebration. I know you will do awesome! It is a lot of work and I know it will be worth it. I will probably faint if I ever see my scale say 140 something. lol I keep the hope and faith it will happen in time and with my determination I will be celebrating my goal weight before I know it, and so will you!!

I can relate to your excitement. I have been 170-175 for 25+ years and with diet and exercise I could get to 160 but NEVER any lower than that. So to have this surgery and see my scale say 154 is amazing to me. I can't wait for my next milestone which is 150. I look forward to following you along your journey.

Wow that is funny, we sound like we are living the same house. When I told my husband I was going to the doctor to find out about surgery I think he thought I was joking. When I came home the evening and told him I had gone and what I had learned I think he still thought I was joking. When I told him I had set up all of my appointments, Physical, EGD, etc. He started to realize I was serious. At first he was not on board but then when I sat him down and provided him with all the reason why I wanted this, he finally understood how miserable I am. Then he jumped right on board and is being very supportive. We are doing the same as well and telling everyone I am going in to have my gallbladder removed. Funny thing is they are going to remove my gallbladder at the same time so it worked out perfectly. My kids and my Mom and Dad are being very supportive with everything. They are the only people who know that I am doing the surgery. But I am thankful to have a great support system behind me. I read on here so many folks that they do not have a support system and some that so many people have no idea they even had surgery at all. I am very nervous and seem to get more nervous each day that I get closer, but am so overly excited as well....

Ok, well according to the nurse at my doctor's office i'm 5'1/2 and 190 as of 06/12/2014. This week i have been showing 191.5....but its probraly water weight. So are you married? how does your family feel about you having the procedure? My husband was kinda shocked when I told him that I was misserable with my weight; but then he was very supportive at the same time. We have decided to tell everyone that I'm having my gallbladder removed when the time comes.
