Bring at least 16 gas x strips the more the better. The water in the FANCY motel is 100% ok to drink. Dont pack the pill crusher, they will give all meds via IV fluids until your last night. If you crush your antibiotics you will vomit!!! So So gross, just snap it in half and swallow it. I think we had 14 surgery on my day, my husband and I were at 1pm and then we were out of there at 7am. EVERYONE speaks plenty of english. Some women (not me) flat ironed hair and wore make the day after surgery. I also did NOT use a heating pad at all.

I made a lot of jello and only ate about half of it during my 3 day pre op. I was SO happy when we flew home and I still had jello leftover in the fridge to eat. Are you flying?

Thanks for the update and advice! I'm glad you're doing well and 13lbs in awesome! I'm on day 2 of my pre-op diet (only have to do 3 days) and this is sucky...I feel awful. Surgery is in 2 days...hopefully I can at least sleep if I'm feeling like this.
