On St Patrick's day, i will have been sleeved for a year.
ive done alot this year and realized something that should have been evident a long time ago. I need to tell a story here.
I bought a car last summer with the intention of camping and road trips with friends and other loves in my life. 7 passanger loaded with everything, ac that would make your drinks cold, everything i ever wanted. It had style. I enjoyed the ride. I traded it in today.
I cried like a loony in the

its been almost a year since my surgery. the ticker at the bottom of the page stated 300. that means that i have lost 118 lbs in 10 months. and i am oddly underwelmed by this. ive been stalled for a bit. i dont see the change in the mirror most days. on the days i do i am supremely happy with how its worked, and my progress on this road. it was 4 days after my 35th birthday. and my daughter took her first steps by herself on st Patrick s day years ago. i could make that jump if you like. that we

time flies when you are having fun.
its so hard to believe that i have been post op for 6 months.
let me lay it out on the table for people.
at Christmas this past year i sat in a plastic lawn chair and it collapsed beneath me in front of the entire family. i was horrified. i had no idea how much i weighed.i had quietly been going up in sizes the last three years or so. i was unhappy and truly felt unhealthy. i found a scale and was horrified again. 362 lbs.that was

crap, this was just supposed to be about being stalled.... fair warning, this is my summer adventures in overworking and life problems as i see it. there. you were warned.
i dont know if its just because i have more stress this month, and i have been working an 80+ hour work week, or if i am not supposed to live on beef jerky and protein shakes(i get my vitamins and water, relax) but i am stalled.
waay stalled.
good news is that i am going to be laid off one job and the other

i don't think i have been paying proper attention to this blog. but i have reason for that. life has spiraled away. and i look back and realize its been almost 3 months since i had my sleeve done. i am down 80 lbs, and i am down 10 pant sizes.
i am 7 lbs lighter than when i graduated high school 18 years ago.
i look back on all of the struggling, and all of the disappointment, i look at all of the pain that i let saturate my psyche, all of the potshots i made at myself, or allowed
