I already cancelled the consult for the endoscopy, this time I went thru with the consult, having the procedure Friday, so not backing out this time but still VERY SCARED...I have to do this, was lucky enough to have insurance approve it, which I see many people weren't so fortunate, just have to keep the faith & believe everything will go ok.

I'm convinced that alot of my weight gain is attributed to being in menopause so I'm wondering if any other women have experienced the same thing. I was overweight before menopause but gained even more weight. Sometime I don't even eat that much yet have to yet to lose any weight, but when I do eat it's usually big portions. So now I'm back to having doubts have getting the surgery; would welcome any comments; thanks.
