  1. I'm doing good. The water is the tough part but getting more in each day. Went back to work today and that went well. Thanks for your encouragement I appreciate it.

How are you feeling? I hope you're doing okay...keep moving, that will help you feel better and keep up the water, you don't want to become dehydrated. This is the hard part, you'll feel better every day, promise. Post how you're doing when you get a chance. Moving helps with the gas pains...keep going!
  3. I have been sleeved and now I'm home. The second day after surgery was the hardest but I had great nurses so that helped So far so good. Still a bit of pain in the chest area but overall feeling pretty good.

A week post op and back to work

by Rileygirl on 09-30-2013 at 08:48 PM
Today marks one week since my surgery and I'm back to work. It's amazing how quickly I'm recovering. I know it's different for all but I'm greatful for how it's going. I'm excited to weigh in on Wednesday at my dr apr. but I can already see and feel the effects of the sleeve.
What I do think is odd is I wake up hungry every morning. Not sure if that is normal or I just now know what real hunger pains are.

Waiting......

by Rileygirl on 08-31-2013 at 02:06 PM
23 days to go before surgery. Getting anxious for the day. I've started drinking more water to get prepared. I bought a camelback water bottle and love it. Trying to get ready for the liquid diet portion. I'm trying to mental prepare for this life changing event. I'm so excited, but nervous at the same time.
Any suggestions would be great.
