Yes, June 30th is my date! My emotions are still all over the board. One day total elation, can't wait to have it, the next, ready to call it off bc of all the things that could go wrong!! I actually get a sick feeling in my stomach on those days and think why can't I do this without surgery!! Even though I've had to work hard to keep my weight in check (unsuccessfully most of the time) I haven't been morbidly obese until the last 4 years. The task of losing seems insurmountable without this tool to help me. However, I'm freaking removing 80% or more of my stomach!! lol I feel like I've lost my mind sometimes then I read all the success stories and I so want to be on that side of the losers bench! I just wish I could keep my mind for rolling over and over and over all this. I've made a decision and it's time to put on my big girl pants and DO THIS THANG!! LOL

You asked how my eating was going. I am starting to eat like a normal person in my choices. I eat a very small amount. I try to eat the protein first and maybe a few bites of salad. I usually have a protein drink for breakfast. For dinner it's usually a yogurt. I really don't eat much and it's probably not enough. Working on it.

I am on medicare through Group Health and they use Overlake to do Bariatric surgery and That's why he is the only DR for Group Health right now.
