I went to meet my surgeon and my nut yesterday. I have to wait til the Sept 18 for them to send off for approval, that's when my 90 days will be up. Now they tell me I have to go to a diet group class on the 26th of Sept for counseling on how to eat on my pre-op diet and after surgery. The surgeon said it probably would be the middle of Oct when I can have the surgery. I was hoping for end of Sept but that how it goes. Hope everything goes now as planned and get my approval.

Well the truth comes out. I haven't had my surgery yet, hopefully sometime in September. My husband tells me this weekend that he doesn't think I should have the surgery because he doesn't think I'm strong enough. That I love food to much and doesn't think I can not eat, it will be to painful to watch other people eat. I have been doing what my dietitian says and I'm down 23 lbs. I see on some people's blogs where have highest weight and pre op weight then week 1 , 2 etc. how do you put that on your profile?

I just seen my dietitian, and made my appointment to see her again on Sept 10 and to talk to the surgeon on the same date. Then hopefully find out if I will get approved. I have bad vein in my legs. When I had knee surgery I had a blood clot and now I worried when I have this surgery I will have another blood clot. They are in my superficial veins but very painful. Does anybody else have this problem or had a blood clot from the surgery.
