    I gave up on soda and my french vanilla coffee (light and sweet) since August when I first met the dietitian. Our day is approaching and I'm so excited! I just bought new pajamas, slippers getting my stuff ready.

    Hi Meloedy... I'm doing exactly what I have to do for the pre-op diet but I'm having a tough time too. I am up early every morning, moving around a lot to get kids ready, bring them to school, go to work then go pick up kids, cook etc and the menu on the pre-op diet is not giving me enough energy. I'm getting very dizzy and weak. All I'm saying to my self is that November 6th is almost here!!!

It Gets Easier!

It has been one week since I started the pre-op diet and I no longer feel that I would kill someone for a cheeseburger. I might knock them over and snatch the burger out of their hands, but I definitely would not kill or even maim them. In all seriousness, this is not as horrible as I thought it would be. And I've lost 8 pounds.
