    I live in Bowling Green so you are not to far away. I actually was banded 7 years ago. My husband was also banded and for the most part he has done well with it but I have had a ton of complications. sleeve wasn't available when I had my surgery it was the band or a bypass and for be bypass seemed as overkill. I think you are making the right decision, I honestly think the band will be taken off the market in the next few years. Plus the fills, un-fills, fluoroscopies, etc. really add up and make finding your sweet spot that much more difficult. The I am so excited that after many denials my appeal was approve, it's almost hard to believe, I fell like I'm dreaming, lol. I should let you know that since I have met my deductible for the year with this surgery I am going to push to stay an extra day. My goal is to leave the hospital on Friday instead of Thursday.
