Hi Melinda! I am doing great! Good to hear from you. I was also worried about that because I wanted to make sure that it was only going to be the one scar in the belly button. I have to see which youtube testimonial that I watched that showed someone who got the SILS and I will send you the link. You should definitely move yours to the 5th!! I would love the company since I will be alone too. I am getting so excited and nervous about surgery that I haven't been able to sleep for the past week or so until the wee hours in the morning! Crazy! Oh yeah, and NO DRAIN for us is required with the SILS. However, if you don't do the pre op diet like you are supposed to and they need to move your liver out of the way because it is too big, you will have one more incision for that. But we are going to do the pre op diet like a champ RIGHT????!!!

You should defintely come and join me! My experience with MBC has been great and I love Christy who is the coordinator. She is extremely helpful, ready to answer any questions that you may have. I have done quite a bit of research and have heard great things about Dr. Diaz. I am told that he has a wonderful bed side manner and really discusses everything with you to make sure you have a full understanding of the procedure and a all its details. I am going alone so I would love if we could meet up at the Marriott on the 4th. Go to the forum on Dr. Diaz and also get some feedback from some of his patients that are on this forum. That should be helful for you. I would also suggest that you go on YouTube and watch the journey of AdiosPlusSize who also went to him for the same SILS procedure. I correspond with her and ask questions from time to time. Let me know how things go! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
