Hi all! So, I met with my NUT and surgeon for a follow-up recently, and they both told me that I need to up my daily protein... my hair is falling, and thinning out dramatically :-( I already have think hair as it is, so of course I'm freaking out... they said it will stop eventually, and my hair will grow out fuller, and healthier, and that it is mainly due to having enough protein..
I am no longer a fan of protein shakes since I got pretty sick after drinking some weeks after surgery...
So, it has been a while since I've posted anything (I was at the 8 1/2 week post-op). It has now been 4 months, and I am now weighing in at 188 lbs! I haven't been to the doctor since the several post-op visits, so I am not sure what the weight difference will be on their scale, but while I am home, I figured it would be easier to go by what my scale says.
