My husband and I go to our first informational seminar this Saturday and we plan to set up appointments and start the paperwork right away. My husband is in the medical field and the hospital he works for has an agreement with this clinic and they have a stellar reputation. His boss and another coworker have had the sleeve and said it took about three months to get insurance approval, so I know the wait will be torture. So ready to just get on with it! Your progress is great, you are so close to goal!
We would both love to visit Australia- it's on our list. My heart belongs in the UK, however. Married to a Brit- that's awesome. My husband is actually half Norwegian and we visit Norway every year or so. We went back to London for a few days on our way over to Stavanger last summer and it was three days of sunshine! Unheard of for May, or so I'm told.

I must secretly desire to be British too - I'm actually an Aussie expat but I've been living in the UK for 11 years and I'm married to a Brit, so I guess I'm as close as you can get til I bother to take the stupid citizenship test and get a passport! Any idea about the time frame til your surgery? I can't believe the time (and weight loss) has gone by so fast since I decided to have the surgery. You'll be living the life you want to before you know it!
