Hello, I am from TN also, & my surg is with Dr Almanza 5/30, I called my Airlines and requested a w/ch on the return trip, I change planes in Dallas, I did have to be on HOLD a long time on the phone but I was determined they hear me. Otherwise I could have requested the w/ch online but I only want it on the return flight. I am not going to lift my luggage to place in the overhead bin. One lady already shared she was a bloody mess when she arrived to change planes at her connecting flight, Good Luck!!

Have you looked at my album of "before" pictures? I'm a tall guy, and am very round. I was about 416lbs when I decided to start the surgery process. I'm down to ~380 now. I didn't want to have surgery, but I have about five doctors for various things that all talked together and made it clear to me that I was going to die within a year or two if I didn't lose weight. I've been fat for over 20 years and yo-yo'd like crazy for most of that. My liver is what is really doing me in.

I didn't really have to do much for my insurance because I had already done most of it due to other ailments...it was pretty simple to get them to see that surgery was my best option.
