Experience in Tijuana with Dr. Kelly

So it's been 3-1/2 weeks since I had surgery with Dr. Kelly in Tijuana. I had done so much research beforehand that I had a pretty good idea of what would happen once we got there so I wasn't too surprised by anything. I liked Dr. Kelly as a person and got the sense that he was very competent and compassionate. He took the time to answer all my questions and even came to see me afterward at the hotel to see how I was doing. I think the only thing that was a little disconcerting is that he hadn't

Wow, the reality of this is really sinking in. I cancelled my first appt but when I made this one, I really haven't looked back. Still not looking back but holy crap, this is real. And it's for life. When I wake up out of surgery, I can't exactly say, "Um, yeah...I think I should have given this a little more thought." The never-going-back thing is what made me cancel it in the first place but as I've talked to more people, I've learned that that's what they LIKE about it. And really,
One Week Til Surgery - AAAAAH!!!

So my surgery is 4/24. I cancelled the first appointment but since I've made this one I've not looked back. I know I have to do this for myself because nothing I've done on my own has worked and I'm stinkin' tired of being a slug. Time to move on!
I'm nervous but I'm visualizing nothing but a positive outcome - during the surgery, right after surgery and many years down the road. I don't even let negative ones enter my beano cause it's too easy to let those take control. Lots of
