Gastric Sleeve for gastroparesis NOT weight loss

Has anyone had a gastric sleeve to treat gastroparesis and not weight loss? I have it scheduled for when school is out this May. ( I am a elementary school teacher) Thanks for any advice you may have! Much appreciated! Barb
