Hope all is well with everyone! I'm doing great down to 207, the scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks hardly but I'm ok with that.. I feel like a new person..

We had surgery the same day. Just wondering how your feeling and how the weight loss is going?

Today was much easier for me too. I was sleeved on Monday and was out of it that day. I finally was awake enough at midnight to walk a few times.. I also haven't had much pain medicine, I only took a dose for the drive home. I have had some fuzzy vision and I'm not sure why. I couldn't get in any protein yesterday, it was all to sweet for me. Today I've been doing a little better, so far I've 23 grams in still lots more to go..lol..

Hi, chaciek83...I accepted your friend request. I was sleeved (revision from lapband to sleeve) on Monday, 4/08/13 at Baylor Trophy Club in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area of Texas. My surgeon was Dr. David Kim. I hope your journey so far has been good. I consider myself lucky...I have only had 1/2 dose of pain meds since the surgery and that was for the 3-1/2 hour drive home just because I was concerned that if I didn't take it I might get into a problem. Yesterday was the "third day" thing---worst feeling day of all, but today is a totally different story. Even though we're a long way apart, let's stay in touch and watch our journeys! Gulping water is my issue too.. I've been working hard at that. I also drink lots of water, and I love sweet tea. I've been tea free for 2.5 weeks. I haven't missed it like I thought I would.. I have tried a few protein shakes for after surgery and I've found I like the Nectar ones best. Which ones are you doing; meal replacement or just protein shakes?. I've tried Matrix 2.0 and I can deal with it, but the Nectar ones are more like crystal light favors.. I'm doing much better on the liquid diet than this past weekend.. I hope I'm over that hump..

I was not put on a diet. I have however replaced 2 meals with a protein shake, stopped drinking with the other 2 meals, and am really trying to stop gulping down 6 oz of water at a time! I also chew my food (start with smaller bites) 20-30 times, and eat a lot slower. These are all hard to do, but started almost 2 weeks ago (not all the same day). Just want to get myself used to the changes. i am lucky-I love water (only drink water, milk, and Crystal light flavorings), and I actually like my protein shakes. I am sure we will both do really fine. Excellent job with the Optifast!

how neat.. I'm in South Carolina.. and I'm very excited and nervous. I've been on a optifast 800 diet for about 2 weeks. I also get a 400 cal. diet of lean protein and veggies for supper but I'm craving carbs so bad. I hope it's just a small phase and i'll soon be over it.. How about your journey..

Hi...same surgery date. I'm looking for a couple "buddies" to get through this with. I'm up in Michigan. I notice there are many different reactions (emotions) to this process and thought perhaps we could get through those together.
