Thank you! I feel good but I've only lost 12 pounds since my surgery on April 12th. All of which I lost within the first week and a half. It's been almost 3 weeks since I've lost anything. I'm getting nervous. I'm definitely going to contact Dr. Miranda.

Hey there! I have a question for a fellow Dr. Ortiz patient. I feel that I was given very little nutrition info. I was told what to eat and what not to eat the first four weeks but no instruction beyond that. Am I missing something? Was there a pre-op email with this info? Everyone on these forums has a daily protein and calorie goals but I was never told anything. There are foods people were told to avoid for at least a year or forever that I've been eating because I wasn't told not too. Was this your experience as well?

Thank you! Everything was pretty uneventful. Dr Ortiz was a dream, very funny and charming. Most comfortable hospital bed I've ever been in. The most painful part was when they pushed meds into my IV. I feel a little crampy on my drain side but overall everything was great.
