Thanks! my doctor says the sleeve is best for me but also said at the seminar that people who are large like myself want to consider something more aggressive. That's why i'm so confused, but I think your right ill be happy with either one! thank keep me updated on your progess!

Hi I would love to tell you that having the sleeve will cure you weight problem for good, but I can't. I am 64 years old and have not had any complications with the sleeve and I don't think you will either. I have a whole list of health problems and most have gotten much better so I am definitely glad I did it. I do have thyroid issues and still working with the doctors try to figure out what to do to make losing weight possible. My lose is so slow that it is very discouraging. But it is not my fault or the fault of the sleeve. Most very large people do really well with the sleeve and lose large amounts of weight and very quickly. I am just not one of them. If you are trying to decide between the sleeve or the bypass I think you will be happy with the results no matter which one you chose. So just go with what ever your doctor feels is best for you.

I want to know how much success people over 400 pounds has had with this surgery?
