Hi Diana I'm doing we, my dr said the same thing that I need to eat to lose weight! I will trust him as he is the professional. He also said to vary my calorie intake as your body can get used to less calories & will stop losing. He said anything between 1000 - 1500 a day is fine give or take. He said its normal to have days where you eat hardly anything & days where you eat more. That's how naturally slim people eat.

I'm glad your doing so well. Keep up the great work. It's a long hard journey but will be worth it!

Ooh I'm now eating small bits of normal food which I've found means I eat less calories. I eat more calories with soft diet.

My new job is going well & I'm setling into everything , mum said she can see my weight loss which is brilliant. I can't tell much yet but I wear lots of stretchy clothes so I have probably been squeezing into smaller sizes for a long time.

My new office building has a gym with lots if classes so as my arthritis gets better I will be able to do more excercise too.

Lots of love to you x
  3. This is a picture of my son sean he lives with me i am his caregiver he has a brain sheer injury he is a us army vet he was in a nursing home in mass. He wanted me to get him out of that place and come to live with me in az. So i went and took him out of that awful place, he is my youngest child, sean is unable to walk, talk or go to the bathroom, he uses a dynavox computer to talk, he types what he wants to say and hits a button ,and it talks for him, he is my joy, everyday i pray he will be healed by god, just thought i would share this with all my friends on this site,

Oooh cheese! What a great idea! I'll try that. I haven't weighed my self at all! My surgeon asked my to get rid of my scales at home & he will take care of the weighing. He thinks that stalls can cause depression & emotional eating so I will only get weighed at my follow up appointments. My swelling is going down my scars are still a little sore, but one is nearly completely healed, just the bigger ones, but it's just a matter of time. X
  5. I am doing ok just still swollen, and in a major stall with weight loss, oh well just waiting this out and eating real food but in very small portions chew chew chewing the food up until it is mush, but it taste good,
i added cheese to my tomato soup it made it a bit better to eat, 2 weeks out you are doing great, how is the swelling of your stomach?

Hi Diana, I'm doing good thanks. A little bored with the liquids but I know it will be worth it in the long run. Still no problems & I'm 2 weeks out, every day is a day further away from surgery & another day healed. I struggle getting protein in, the powder just turns my stomach. So my dietitian has suggested adding extra chicken to my soup or lentils. I'm not tired or drained, & I'm getting plenty of liquids so she's happy with what I'm getting in so far.

How are you doing? Hope you are well x
  7. Yes i know how your feeling with the soreness,it will get better, just rest and take your meds i am praying for you and your recovery keep me in the loop of your recovery ok?
