- Sleeved or not sleeved:
- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- I am married with one child. I was sleeved on April 27th 2012 and am learning something new about this journey and myself everyday. I was 250lbs on the day of surgey and just couldnt fight it anymore. I have struggle since childhood, just like alot of others here and I pretty much gave up on myself and my weigh so instead of living in a closet (Like I wanted to) I turned to the Sleeve. They choice was hard, I had lots on conflict on making my decision but finally, with my amazing husbands support, I decided I was worth more!!

It has been just over 1 year for me! I started out at 250 and now stay just under 160-155 and I LOVE IT! This surgery has been life changing for me. I go places and do things I never would have. I love to go dancing! I always thought I would, just wouldnt do it, was to ashamed. I have a 2 piece bathing suit this summer too! Ahhhhh I am so excited!

I made it I lost 90lbs and went from 250 lbs to 160lbs in just over 8 monthes!!! I am very proud of myself but I still have a ways to go. I was a TIGHT 18, just would not wear a 20 and now I am a 10, a 10!!! that is amazing in my eyes and I look healthy.
I set my goal for 160 cause that seemed impossible at the time but now I think I am gonna go for 145-150 just for some safe room. I still have to watch myself on my eating I think I eat to much to fast and I need to go back to basics,

So I just can't help it. On the days I feel the best I have to share it with yall!! I am over 6 months out and still working towards goal but I feel so successful My little sister cleaned out her closet and I can wear her clothes This is such an awesome accomplishment especially since I have been looking to her as a statement of beauty for years, she was homecoming queen and a cheerleader and I always felt like we were from two different planets.
I am so happy with my sleeve, I love

Today I am 5 months post opts and 70 lbs down, I am very excited about that!!! I though I might be able to give some of you in your first months some pointers.
First...it will come off, don't freak out when you stall. You will need to challenge yourself into figuring out what will get you losing again. Mostly I say this because I just don't want you to feel like you’re the only person who this wont work for because I think we all feel like that at some point.
Second...This
