    Ur doing well if ur having fluids within the 1st 24 hours... I was nil by mouth for 3 days before I was allowed anything... I had to do my barium swallow test before he would let me drink

    Thank y'all so much for the well wishes and prayers. I'm n a lot of pain right now and feel nauseous. I'm waiting on the dr to make rounds so I can get broth. Hopefully it will be soon and def hope its all worth it in the end

I woke up this morning and went for a 20 min walk bc it was so beautiful outside. 1/2 way through I was thinking I should go bk but I finished and felt better. I'm not really hungry at all but I do "want" food. ESP when I see damn commercials on tv. I have to fast forward through those. I've only been able to eat 1/3 sugar free jello and drink water. This WILL get easier with every day at passes

Day of surgery

I had my surgery today at 10am. It was scheduled for 8am but ya know how that goes. When it was over around 1pm I was sent to recovery to well--recover. As I lay there I was in the worst pain ever. So much I was thinking what have I done to myself. If I would have just pushed the plate away years ago I wouldn't be in this situation but I didn't and so it's done.
