I noticed that you have a list of detailed stats after you ticker information. How did you do that?
Thanks for checking up on my. I made myself not post for a week after the surgery cause I would have just post whiny ones anyway. The surgery went great and being in the hospital hooked up to an IV was a new and unpleasant experience but so happy to come home on the 23rd and sleep in my own bed was the best xmas present ever. So how did things go with you?
Hi! I got home Thursday afternoon - so far so good. I don't get to start shakes til Wednesday, so I'm plugging away on getting in enough fluid. Belly is really tender but took a shower and slept in my bed last night instead of recliner. Can't wait to get through these next couple of weeks, so I can start seeing some real progress. Glad you're home and doing well. Merry Christmas!
Sending prayers your way that your surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery!
Hello fellow, soon to be, sleever. Just thought I'd send a note as we are getting sleeved on the same day, sort of, I'm in Asia so about 14 hours ahead. Anyway positive thoughts and looking forward to hearing your successes in the coming year. Happy 2013!!!
Good luck today!!

Hi, Elbie! I just saw your post in the December surgery group about us both having surgery on Wednesday. I will absolutely be your "sleeve-sister!" I'm not nervous at all - just very excited and ready to start this next part of my life! I will be praying for you and your medical team. Would love to hear from you afterward. Hope everything goes well. Ann
Aw thanks!! Hope all is going well with your pre-op, so exciting you're getting so close!
Hi Elbie! It's going well, just taking forever!! I have my first appt with a surgeon at MGH mid January. They said there would be lots of pre-op appts - have you had any yet? What are they for? Are you liking MGH? Your surgery is only a month away, right? Exciting!
Awww, Elbie, thank YOU for your sweet words. (((((((Big Hugs)))))))) Patty
Hi Elbie! Good to hear from another Boston area sleever! How are you finding the process so far? I'm currently doing a six month program for my insurance and am hoping for an April surgery.
