hi, i am 2 weeks out of surgery and feel pretty good. I think my experience was way better than a lot. i really had hardly any pain was able to stop taking pain meds 3 days after surgery. I might have taken them a little longer just cuz but they upset my stomach. I would rather have a little pain than an upset stomach. I started on my soft food phase today and not going as good as i was hoping. I just couldn't wait to put some food in my mouth but didn't taste as good as i was dreaming of. Not complaining though i know it will get better. I am tired all the time i feel like i can only have 1 outing a day and that wears me out lucky that i teach so i have the whole summer off but think if i was working i would probably feeling better cuz i would have to get up and get out everyday. Still have a lot of air in chest and stomach and wondering if that is normal and how long will this last?

Hi Cindy- I had my surgery the same day as you did. How are you feeling? What are you eating?

I hit my 3 week today and its the first time when nothing hurts! Hope it went well and sending you all my wishes in your recovery!
