I'm off of school until jan 23 which gives me almost a month of recovery. In my book that is plenty of time. I'm not in so much pain but the bloating and nausea is a bitch. I've been through worse though. So what are your plans for new years. Take a shot for me!!!

My next appoinment is January the 10th with Amber, as for the food during the holiday...I ate lol I just dont over eat anymore. im plate and thats all I do, trying to stick to my weight control oatmeal and kashi cereal and protein shakes at least for breakfast. Im glad you are ok, hope you got some different pain relief in the house now. So our new tummys dont do well with asprin huh?

Thanks girl I know I've been mis these past few days. It really is an adjustment dealing with this new "sleeved" life. I'm just wondering if I made the best decision. I know I did and I know the pain I'm feeling now is only temporary, but it's just a lot because now I feel like did I hate myself that much to go through such a drastic change? I hope I feel better in a couple of days. Thanks for all your support it really makes this process so much easier and you've been such a good help through this.

I'm about to go to the airport to pick up my youngest dau. She lives in PA. The rest will come in on Fri and Sat...6 total. I finished cleaning today and baking over the weekend. I have wrapped about half the presents and still haven't done much decorating. The tree is up but needs alot of work. I just took a long bath (this is a NSV b/c) I can now get out of the bathtub) and am waiting for hubby to come in from fishing so we can make the hour trip to get Ariel. Soooo excited! Hi there! So great to hear from you. I am doing absolutely wonderful and have lost 72 lbs in 7 months. Just 6 lbs to go and I will be 'overweight' not 'obese.' Hurray. I haven't been able to say that since my 33 yr old daughter was in the 4th grade! What about you?

ooh. To be honest I hate the holidays. It is so stressful dealing with my family that if I had a choice, I'd go to Hawaii. Girl, I love zofran it does wonders for nausea. I do hope it gets better for you though. I tried putting protein in my breakfast shake and hated it. What did you do for the liquid diet? Mine is fast approaching and getting nervous that I'm still gonna want to eat.

Hey thanks for checking up on me. Its been a crazy couple of weeks because of classes and prepping for finals so I haven't been on much because of that. Well everything is over and I am neutral about sleeve day. I'm not overly excited, but I'm not nervous either. Its gonna happen and that's it. How are you doing?

And no my appointment with Amber didnt go ok, I was gonna email you today about it all. I have to see her again in another 3 weeks, wont be until Jan 10th. I have been struggling on this last month, so I guess she feels im not ready. I feel I am ready, but I am just tired of this manangement stuff. I know it prepares us for it all. But I am the type of person and has always been...has to go through it after the fact something like I learn better hands on if u get me. Soooo I have to buckle down and prove more to her i guess. Sucks!! And she is gonna see if Dr.Smith can talk to me about things to do, other than emotional eating and wants me to make a list to show her. uuugh!! She was like I know u know what to do, umm yeah i really do. I just wanna get the show on the road, I started out good with the first 3 week thing they had us do, but it got old after a while i guess i dont know. Im just ready to be done with all of it. I would have hit you up last night, but I was just feeling some type of way, tired and went to sleep before 9 last night. My exstention is 64268

my 3 month visit is on the 12th with Amber, then I am supposed to call Dr.Smith if he needs to see me again or if we are going to do a phone conference. How long did it take for medcost to give u approval?

Oh ok, Im so ready to finish this 90 day weight management stuff, and just get approved and a date already. I was goin good the first two months, and on this last month im struggling a bit. Going through all types of fustrations and I havent even had the surgery yet. Hopefully things will get easier for you as you heal. What protien shakes have u been drinking? The only ones I seem to enjoy right now are the premier chocolate.
