So I have made some calls and done some research online and it looks like I am out of luck as to having the surgery at all. My husband's insurance does not have a bariatric rider. I called them earlier and she said that our policy does not cover any Weight loss procedures/surgery.

So I called the doctor and got my bloodwork results and everything looked good. They did a BCB and lipids and soemthing else.

She said my blood sugars are good, counts are good, liver is functioning well as are kidney.

My choleserol is 175 for total, my LDL is a little bad at 123 but the tryglicerides are also good.

So all in all good results. I was a little worried that diabetes may have been an issue but pleasantly srprised that everything was good.

So I had a dr. appointment scheduled for Thursday, I set it up as an annual exam and figured i'd get that out of the way and also talk to the doc about the possibility of this surgery. Well "something came up" and my appointment has been cancelled and they can't get me in for another month...I waited 3 weeks for this appointment. So let down. That would push my 6 months to March and I'm just not sure I want it that close to when i go back to work...so damn frustrated.
