Well I had my follow-up with my PCP on Wednesday... He reviewed my resent labs and then said to me "you're a show-off!" Smiled and hugged me :-) He says I'm doing so wonderfully without taking any of my meds, that he can't wait to see what they are when I see him again in November. I have one med left that is not weight related and he thinks this is the only thing that will keep me coming back to see him.. lol My LDL went down to 73; my cholesterol is 173, my HDL is 83; my protien and electrolytes are better than his and many healthy weight patients. I'm off all of my lung meds and will stay off of them until probably fall when they have a issues with the seasons changing for some odd reason. He has 2 other WLS patients and I'm his star student. I'm not a prideful person but I have to say that I felt ten feet tall after my visit. Just another NSV! I have so many at this point that I get lost in the happiness of it sometimes.

I'm going well thanks. Getting grips with purees and surprised at how quickly I've had enough. The re-fried beans that are my favourite dinner fill me up after about 1/2 cup which I'm guessing is good going. I stop when I get that rock in my chest feeling.
Still drinking the majority of my protein as I have another week on soft sloppy pureed food before transitioning to firmer stuff.
I'm down 6kg and delighted with that and keeping my head on straight as I move into my third week and the possibility of a stall. Certainly not going to freak out about that after all I've read.
