Last week I made a post regarding the pain still in my side at week 3 and how hard it was to bend. The burning sensation would literally bring tears to my eyes!!!! This weekend, it happened. Without notice, without warning, I woke to find I had no pain. It miraculously disappeared overnight. I can now pick things up without cringing!!!! YAY!!!
It is amazing how each day makes a significant difference. For me, this has been the hardest part of the journey so far. I have tolerated

Hi All ~ So today I am 3 weeks out. The experience has not been as horrific as I was expecting. I stopped taking any pain meds the day after surgery. I've been able to go for walks and am to about 2 miles. Still a ways to go, but climbing~! The one thing that I do have is pain on my left side going to my back and I am still unable to lay in my bed; my recliner has been my new BFF! If I lay down, I get the most awful burning sensation. It also hurts when I bend over. Has anybody else experienced

MY surgery was Wednesday evening. I felt really good on Thursday, then yesterday I thought I was going to die! I couldn't catch enough air. Today has been a zillion times better and I know the next coming few weeks will be amazing! Thanks to all of you supporters. I don't know where I would be if it hadn't been for all of you!
