Hi Yvonne!!! Love Dr Adams! I am so sorry about your issues with the band. Must say a few years ago I was going to do the band and backed out. Thank goodness. I love the sleeve and much happier with the sleeve over the bypass. My recommendation is if you can try doing squats with a chair, just a few a day. It made a huge difference with getting up and down post surgery. Walk as soon as you can in hospital and do the breathing treatments as much as you can. I recommend that every time you eat go for a short walk. It helps with the digestion and passing time before you can drink. I love the staff with Dr Adams also. The support group is wonderful also. You can do support group more than once, while waiting for surgery. Let me know which one you will attend so we can meet up. Let me know ttyl Tamara
