I have an 11 month old...and live alone. Was wondering how long after surgery it took yall to feel able or comfortable to pick your kids up?

After about a month, I picked up my 2 year old to put him in a shopping cart and I hurt myself. Your inside takes longer to heal then the outside even if you feel fine.
