Hi all. This will be short and to the point. Our spouses love us. They are used to our failed attempts at weight loss. They love us anyway. They will scared for us having surgery. They will worry that we will be disappointed again. They won't know how to help. They will worry that we will change and not want them anymore. Have conversations about this stuff. Involve them at pre-op meetings and tests. Go to a support group together and listen to what people are saying. I'm still 2 weeks from surgery. My husband and I have discussed so many of the "what ifs" and both of our fears. Keep your minds and hearts open to one another, this will be a journey!
