Well, I got home yesterday and everything is going well. My surgery was March 26th. My overall experience was wonderful. I was extremely impressed! I plan on posting a little bit about my experience later next week but right now I'm just to get the fluids in me. How long will the gas continue? It's not as bad as it was at the beginning but it's hard to drink even the smallest amount of fluid without contributing to the gas. Any advice?

Every day will get better. In my experience it was about the one week mark. Good luck.

That gas truly was one of the worst things. That and the fact they kept giving me meds I'm not supposed to take, so I spent a fair amount of time vomiting. I am at three weeks tomorrow, and I still have air bubbles when I eat and drink, but not near like it was. My tummy is still a little swollen as well.
