Does anyone know how long they will be on their preop diet? I thought it was 2 weeks, but it looks like some people only have to do a week. I have my nutritional classes coming up next tuesday so I should learn more about it

I believe it depends on your surgeon. Mine is only having me do it the day before surgery, and then after the surgery...

2 weeks for my surgeon. Liquid diet. Trying to get pumped up about it, so that it won't be as hard as some people say it is.

Lindsay, I have found that it depends on your doctor and maybe your size. I will be on a 2 week liquid diet, per DR instructions.
