Day 6 post-op, still having quite a bit of pain. Will it get better soon?

    What kind of pain? From the incisions or something internal? Did you go for your post op Dr. visit yet?

    If you are still in pain tomorrow call your doctor - they'll be able to tell you if what you are feeling should be there or not. Could it still be from gas???

    My post-op appointment is tomorrow.
    It feels like the pain is inside, but doesn't feel like gas.
    It's mostly when I shift or have to stand up.

    I was in pain for about 7 days. What my doc told me is each day should get better and better, not worse. If you find that you continue to feel worse its time to call the doc.

    Are you walking? That will help to relieve the gas, you cold have gas trapped inside. Walking is the best thing for it and (farting).

    I felt really good at 2 1/2 weeks post op. It will get better. Make sure you're walking daily. It helps.
