Paragraphs....
Thank you everybody, I'm so glad you liked my post. I don't know what happened but I didn't get any notifications that people had replied so I apologize for the delay in getting back to you all. I hope you all are doing great!
Thanks for checking in and providing such great insight into what a success story requires. Glad things are going so well for you.
I loved your post. So honest and uplifting. When you talked about people freaking out because they could no longer have some of the comforts they were used to having, soda, beer, ibuprofen, it made me laugh. It reminded me of when my oldest daughter was pregnant for the first time and a friend of hers said, "I can't believe you can't drink for 9 months!" Well, sometimes you have to get your head in the right place to get what you need/want. Also, I'm in a serious stall right now and haven't done anything wrong, so reading your post right now helped, haha!
Congrats on your success.

Hi Sandra, Yes they checked all of that, my PCP is very thorough about my blood work due to the sleeve. It's a mystery and it's not fun at all, the not knowing is almost worse than the fevers. I just wish one of these specialists would say you have XYZ and fix it already. Thanks for your response!

I had a infection a month after, I think I got it from the cathetor, urinary infection. But could this be that zika thing that has been on the news? Have u had an endoscopy to check your stomach make sure there is no leak or infection?

They do check your white and red cell count with those tests and they said I was in the normal range so that makes this even more confusing. I'll talk to you later and thanks for doing this I appreciate it!

In addition to tick titers, have they done blood cultures or looked for fungal infections? Hi Kindle, Thank you so much for your response and suggestions. I mentioned the tick thing and they said the test is janky and I could end up with a false positive so they wanted to hold off and do other tests first. I don't recall those names for the antibiotics but will go to CVS later and have them do a print out of what I've been on and see if I have been on either one. Once I get this appointment with the pulmonologist I will push for both those tests and God willing get some answers. It's funny you said that about the antibiotics because 2 or 3 of them that I was on I did respond to and the fevers went away but once I was off for a week or so everything came back. The longest I was on anything was 2 weeks. This is really helpful and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to answer me, have a great day and I will keep you posted. The biggest downside is I think this is gonna be an even longer haul than it already is.

I suffered for years with crazy heartburn.. pills every 24 hours or it tore up my chest and throat,, didn't take any pills for the 1st 2 weeks post op, but the last 2 weeks I have needed to take them every few days or so.. The dr. said even people who didn't have it b4, may have it after surgery but mostly goes away after a while, so I am hopeful it will get better than it was. I will say, sometimes I did take the pill with juice or tea or coffee... mostly milk, but now ill make extra effort! Thanks
Makes sense It helps me if I take really deep breaths, hold it in for a few seconds and let it out. Heart burn sucks. Glad its not a constant issue for me
YOU NEVER KNOW. IT MAY HELP SOMEBODY. THANKS FOR SHARING.
