  1. The Day when "The Scale" is your friend now!

I just had a great moment! I stepped on the scale and actually did a little jump and arm raise!! Down 31 lbs now- I LOVE MY SCALE! lol. I have 3 times this to go yet, but 31 pounds are GONE and I am not scared to get on that evil thing anymore. It's lost it's fangs. It lost it's claws. We are walking this path together and it's my pal!
  2. I had to buy a fdew things

I don;t want to buy clothes, but the 26 pound weight loss makes my clothes look ridiculous! I had to pick up a few things for the interrum. After the next 10 lbs gone I will grab a couple things maybe from salvation Army as I can't spend $80.00 every 2 weeks. It was nice to wear something that fit and I felt slimmer, but I have such a LONG way to go. Not a lot of options here ion this little Island for inexpensive cloths, so happy there is Ross!
  3. Recluse

I feel llke I am going through a lot more than just a physical change. my emotions are running the gammit daily. From happy, to angry, to just mellow- I seem to be quieter. Now, that may be normal for some, but I can assure you, not me! I haven't even charged my phone for 2 days. I don;pt want to interact with anyone and I don't think I'm depressed, just feeling reclusive is how I want to be right now. Work, then home. It sure looks like depression. I really just am not myself, anyone else have ...
  4. in addition...for Amanza patients mostly

Ok...heres some more. The "lab" they take you to is ike something out of a 70's porn. LOL.no really. The "Dr." there asks you the same questions about 5 times. It is sketchy at best, but it's over and done with quickly. Sleep whenever you can. I mean this. Because they will get you up at 4 a.m. if it suits their schedule. The drivers are good guys. The nurses in the hospital are fine. If you know you are due for pain or nausea meds and it's a 1/2 hour past time, CALL the nurses ...
  5. finally home- 4 days post op

I am now closing my 4th day post op.The travel from Tijuana home was nightmarish. I am so happy to be here. I have had some real pain when putting nything down, like something is stuck, bit it seems to be a little bettr in the evenings. It also seems better with warmer liquids. However, I hate everything I go to eat! All chicken broth tates like a mountain of salt. Sugar free jello tastes like mountain of sugar. I had no hunger at all until today. I'm not sure if it was real hunger, or that I am ...
