    The before pics have been taken!

    This weekend I dressed myself in some nice snug leggins and a tanktop and I had my 12 year old daughter take my before pics. We did shots from the front, side and back. I was slightly horrified when I saw the back pic. I mean, unless you're specifically trying, how often do you see yourself from the rear? I asked her if that's really what I look like from the back...she looked at me like I was crazy and said 'ummm, yeah' in typical 12 year old fashion. I will post them eventually, but right ...

    I've been overweight for more than half my life, and obese for all my adult years. I've lost significant weight (50+ lbs on two occasions) but it comes right back. Bariatric surgery has been in the back of my mind for years, but I never knew anyone who had it done, so I didn't have anyone who I could really talk to about it.
