I got the bad news on Friday that I couldn't run my annual Turkey Trot this year due to dental surgery I had. I was so disappointed and at first I wasn't sure why. Then I realized running is part of the "new me." I started running before surgery, but it's been an important part of becoming a healthy person. Here's what I wrote about it on my blog, Down the Scale: https://downthescale.com/2017/11/20/...a-turkey-trot/ ...
I'm finally getting back into a routine now that my kids are back in school! Yeah! It feels good to have a schedule, but I still find it hard to make working out a priority. I find if I put my work out clothes on, I'll do it. Here's my latest blog about it: https://downthescale.com/2017/09/15/...rior-clothing/ Have a great week! Jen
I can't believe it's been a year since I ran my first half-marathon! Here's my story at: https://downthescale.com/2016/05/18/...thon-and-more/ What goals have you accomplished since you've had surgery? Please share!
From my Down the Scale Instagram account: As I was making my way home on this morning's run, I jumped over a slug who was just moseying along. My run was slow, but the slug reminded me that any run is better than none! #gastricsleeve #willrunforcoffee #lifeaftervsg #running #downthescale #fasterthanaslug The cartoon I posted is there and also on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/downthescal...type=3&theater ...
I think everyone would agree that our weight loss journey is full of ups and downs. Here's my latest ups and downs on my blog, Down the Scale... https://downthescale.com/2017/04/26/...own-the-scale/ Best wishes, Jen
