    Surgery date confirmed...YEAH!!!

    Saw my surgeon today and barring any unforseen issues, my VSG surgery is officially confirmed for February 3rd! Have to get an esophagram tomorrow, upper GI endoscopy on Monday and then do an overnight oximetry at home for pulmonary clearance and I'm finally DONE with all the pre-op CRAP-O-ROMA. I am so ready!!!! I don't post much at this point but I read through all of the other posts regularly and I learn something everyday so THANK YOU for sharing and commenting.

    I had my first consultation appointment today. Getting all my pre-op appointments set up. Tenative date for surgery if all goes well will be 02/03/12. Hope the days pass quickly, because I am soooo ready to get this done. It's my Christmas and Birthday present to myself for the rest of my life. So excited!!
