My surgery was canceled on the 2nd. By my nerologist. She wants a Mri and TEE done before surgery. I am getting frustrated but i guess better safe than sorry. On the bright side my daughter had hers on the 2nd she is doing great! Down 14 lbs sofar. I cant wait to join her on her journey.
Today I have one of my 8-year-old son's friends over for a playdate/homework date. I got them settled on their word work, and then retreat to my office to prepare for a meeting tonight. The friend needs help with something, so I come back in the room. As I walk in, I see him looking at my belly. He asks-- "Are you pregnant?" I say no, I'm just fat. Boy has it been ages since I've made a post or even been on here for that matter. In the beginning of my journey I was on here daily researching everything I could before I made my decision to change my life. After surgery I was on here daily getting an immense amount of support and encouragement from all the wonderful people that have joined this site. I realized that instead of just waiting for the far-away follow-up appointment to officially get my sleep study results, I should call back and see if there were any cancellations or earlier appointments. When I called, I explained my situation (quickly) and the scheduler said that they have a nurse practitioner who is available THIS WEEK to review results. I almost fell off my chair. How awesome would it be to get the results sooner? Rather than 2 months from now? So-- I have an appointment ...
