On August 29th 2013 I had my surgery and let me say it has been the best decision of my life! These have been the most amazing 2 years of my life. I have went from a size 24 to a size 10/12 jeans, 3x/4 tops to M/L. And have lost almost 150lbs. Life's good! I got married, became a scuba diver, and ran a 5k. Hi everyone, I havent been on in such a long time but I thought about it today and felt it was time to come back and post. What can I say I feel GREAT! I have lost 143lbs thus far! Sometimes I get hard on myself and think I need to lose more then I look in the mirror or look at pics of myself and think WHAT? You go girl! lol I still try to stick to lean proteins and veggies. OMG I can't even believe it myself. I have lost 130lbs. I've gone from a size 24 to a 12. 3xl tops and dresses to Mediums and Larges! Its crazy! I am a nurse and was wearing a size 3xl scrubs, I am now in a medium. I have lost count of how many inches I've lost but I know its LOTS! I have never been happier. I try to eat healthy. I am so happy! So far I am down 116 lbs and 9.5 months out. I just turned 30 and went to Vegas for my birthday. Ive been to vegas many times but this time was by far the best. So I cannot believe I have lost 100lbs! Me 100 lbs lighter. It feels amazing. I just completed a boot camp at the boxing gym I attend and it involved a lot of weight lifting. I feel like that made me build muscle and therefore made the scale move slower this month but My body looks much leaner despite what the scale says.
