    Second Day Post-op

    This is my second day since surgery and I feel better than I had imagined I would. Once they took the drain out, no pain in my left side. As for the shoulder pain, I seem to have walked my way through it. I do feel a little bit of a hangover from pain meds and sleep meds, but that is fine.

    Dr. Elias Ortiz and his medical staff are very good and very efficient. Never did I have to ask for anything. They were on time with meds and and all of my other needs.

    Surgery on Saturday the 13th!

    I have been waiting for sleeve time to get here and it is arriving. I go to TJ tomorrow for all the pre-op stuff and then on Saturday they'll do my surgery. I am not really nervous. Mostly curious about how my stomach will feel after and knowing I need to be cautious with it.

    I'll try to post after my surgery and let know how my experience was.
