Does anyone know where to find unflavored protein packets that you can sprinkle on meals to add additional protein to meals?
Thank you very much
I can't remember where I got mine, but right after my surgery I bought a big container of the unflavored powder. I think it was from Whey Gourmet. Then I bought some of those flavored syrups, that way I could change the flavor up a bit. Boy was I wrong! I tried some of the unflavored stuff in chicken broth and it was terrible! It says "unflavored", but it had flavor to me...yuck!! But I'm sure others have had more luck than I have. It was kind of hard during the first month following surgery, I just wanted something to taste good. Hopefully you'll like it! Everyone's tastes/preferences are different!
Bobbybeegood today mentioned Beneprotein he is going to try. I read about it and ordered some too to try out. Its only 6g per serving, but it looks like a serving is only like 1-2 tblspoons and can mix in just 2-4 oz liquid? It is supposed to be truly flavorless ("unflavored" doesnt mean no flavor! how silly but true) and it looks like you can add to anything. I figure I can try mixing it with almost everything and get myself an extra 18-24g a day (replacing a shake!). Will let you know how it works out...

Unjury has an unflavored one. I don't think anything can be truly unflavored but I was very sensitive to the protein drinks after surgery, they made me sick. Unjury is just bland and it doesn't hav e that protein flavor to it. I think adding it to a very hot broth is not good for any protein powder, it changes the texture and taste. But unjury has a high protein chicken broth that I've heard good things about. I have found that everybodys taste is very different concerning protein so its just a try and see kind of thing. Unjury does have samples for less than 2.00 each. Happy hunting!
im still on full liquids stage.. i use the nonfat dry milk to boost protein for my broth, yogurt, hot chocolate.. you gotta have a lil bit of imagination, but whenever you want to use milk, use the powder! it has 8g of protein and it taste pretty good once you get used to it..
Even I am looking for the same. I have tried couple of them and I am still not satisfied. Are there any other alternatives to unflavored protein packs?
