4 Month Post OP *PICS*

Today(or technically yesterday since its 2 am) is my 4 month surgaversary. I have lost 60lbs post op 69 total. It has been a pretty easy 4 months honestly. I did battle heart burn a LOT the first 3 months. I havent taken any meds for it though in the last month and just have rare flareups. I am not loosing as fast as others may be but that is 100% my fault. I eat whatever I want except breads and sweets. If I want it, I eat it. I also dont workout. I dont even get in half of the water I am supposed to and I dont get the protein in either. I REALLY need to work on ALL of this. My hair has gotten very thin due to this. I joined a gym today and I plan on really making some new changes to help the weightloss. I still dont really care to eat most of the time. Eating seems like a chore. Nothing tastes the same. I hope to report some positive changes for my 5 month check in.

Here are pics side by side at the start, 2month, and 4 month. I dont see much of a difference at all from the 2-4 month pics. Ignore the toilet in the bathroom shot. I only included it because it really shows my new waist.

First off, you look great so dont discredit your work so far! Second, do you think Dr. Marvin's office's lax diet restrictions and overall lack of attention has hurt your weight loss? They are great, but very hands off and trusting that their patients will ask if they need help. What did they say in your 3 month check in? I just had my 1 month yesterday and I was down 34 lbs, but they hardly asked me anything.

You look terrific! Now I can't wait to get to 215 Hey, whatever you are doing is working - I've been working it really hard and have dropped 51 lbs in 4 months and a week post surg, so you are doing great! ... The hair.. I'm at the point of thinking there's not much we can do. I take tons of biotin, b vitamins, silicon, knox gelatin, and I use nioxin products...and my hair has still had 2 periods of fall out so far. I'm not saying they may not have helped but some loss is inevitable for most of us... it will grow back.
