13 months since i had my sleeve done

Its been a while since i posted and sometimes i feel bad that i have not gotten back here sooner, but as you read the post and see all the positive progress that happens over time, you start becoming more active and you almost ...ALMOST forget you even had it done.. lol I have learned a lot about my eating and how much i can and can not eat, fast eating is OUT OF THE QUESTION if i do not have time to chew, then i don't eat. I never thought i was going to be able to keep up with the vitamins i do ok now, however sometimes i still forget lol even though i have them in a case to take everyday.I had a three month set back were i actually GAINED 10lbs but that was from a medication i was taking that had weight gain side effects.. i am now off that medication - i am only 10 lbs from my goal when i went in to the doctors in NOV 2010- my new goal is to weigh 150lbs . I know i will get there, because i have committed myself to changing my eating habits and getting that exercise. It does not mean you have to be a work out junky, i am by far not that person, but i do walk 4 times a week and do bikram yoga (yoga done in a room that is 95 degrees in temperature) I will try to show you my 2 weeks before picture and my 1 year photo if this lets me. What a great post, thank you for sharing with us. It is so important for us all to hear from you long time sleevers a year or more post op. It is great to hear success stories it is such an motivation. Congratulations to you so far on your journey and please don't be a stranger...

Thank you for posting! I love hearing from people who are several months out. It seems people start posting less the further they get from surgery, but it's just those posts that make the rest of us feel better on our own trips. Great news on your progress and exercize routine!

thanks for the positive post...I find it especially helpful as I am in the multiple doctor appts pre op and not knowing what to expect...it helps alleviate some fears and makes me feel like I am making the right decision...good luck getting to your final goal...you have done amazing!

Fabulous post! I am almost 8 months out and am running along the same path as you - close to same starting weight, etc., and was getting worried about not being at or near my goal weight - worried that the window is closing since I am closing in on the year mark, but hearing from someone just a bit past me is reassuring..........thank you so much and good luck with your goal - I hope to be right there with you!
