Mexico Surgeons Recommended???

I had surgery with Dr. Aceves and am very pleased with my outcome and my care that I recieved. My daughter is contemplating surgery, but can't afford what I paid. I know many of you have gone to Tiajuana. Who would you recommend she use?

i was happy with my doc....its no frills that for sure but it did the trick...i healed well & fast....4500. & if she goes alone the recovery house is free

I went to Dr. Kelly . His cost is 5700. I have heard cheaper if you go right through him. It includes everything except airfare.

I went with Dr. Garcia Govea at Mi Hospital in TJ Mexico. If you book directly with him, it is $4600. You pay hotel and airfare. It was a hospital, and I had a private room and bathroom. Everyone was just great, and I received superb care. I highly recommend this group. I was grateful for a 3 day hospital stay and the attention they give on an individual basis. I also liked that I didn't have to travel for tests and instead just transported in wheelchair to the Hospital Department. Great operation, and it is directly over the border. Best wishes. I to am going to Tijuana. I believe there are good Dr.'s in many places around the globe. I believe that no matter where the Dr. is from or the surgery is performed prayer is needed and helps! It surgery!

I have done tons of research and booked with one doc in Mexico but found out on another site that he was not good to go too. Once I received the information I received I booked with Dr. Fernando Garcia at the Mi Hospital in TJ, Mexico, he is a colleague of Dr. Kelly's. I have heard so many great things about him. I can't wait for my surgery in two weeks. Best of Luck to you and your daughter.

I went through Dr. Almanza and I highly recommend him. The sleeve cost is $4,500 and the nurses and medical staff and awesome! I never stayed at the recovery house because I had to stay in the hospital an extra night because I had my Lap Band removed when I was there - but the other girls raved about how great the recovery house was Hotel in San Diego and airfare are the only additional costs.

Your story IS my story. I used Dr Aceves for my surgery May 31st, 2010. Had such great success that my daughter had the surgery this past September. For her surgery though we went with Dr. Ramos Kelly . I went with her so I got to experience both doctors and I have to tell you, if I had it to do over again, I'd go with Dr Kelly. He's speaks great English, is very caring and a great doctor with great reviews, the hospital was just as nice and the hotel blew my hotel experience out of the water. I'm going with Dr. Kelly in a week, and the cost was $5700. I asked two different coordinators. They also told me he's going up to $5900 beginning mid-January.

I had my surgery with Dr. Kelly and he was great and Trish was the best coordinator you could ever ask for. I paid $5300 but that was in May. He has gone up from what I can tell now. If you need to speak me to about this, send me a PM and I will shoot you my cell number.

I'm scheduled with Dr.Kelly for 1/18. I booked thru ALighterMe.Com. I was told that if I booked and sent my deposit over the same day I'd get a $200.00 discount. So I paid thru the website they forwarded. Its a little tricky - so make sure you only click once when you pay. I accidently hit it twice and it deducted my $515.00 twice. Sandy offered to refund the 2nd deposit, but I just told her to keep it - it'll be that much less that I own in Jan. So my price is $5500.00 total without airfare
