Nervous

Hi everyone!
I am 4 days out from my sleeve surgery, and I am finally getting nervous. I want this so badly, that it seems surreal and I can't believe it is actually going to happen....IN 4 DAYS! I'm nervous about the getting to my parking spot in St. Louis, getting to the terminal on time, whether I'm going to be able to heat up water for broth on the plane if I get hungry...or should I just count on my protein bullets...so many things are running thru my head right now, I am making myself a crazy person!
I know that once I get there, I will be fine. I also have another birthday party to get thru tomorrow night. This will be the 3rd birthday celebration this week I've had to endure, and I'm not gonna lie...it hasn't been easy. Plus I've stalled on weight loss on my pre-op diet, and I'm starting to wonder "If I have stopped losing weight while only consuming 6-700 calories per day, is this surgery even going to work????"

Hang in there lshepler, you will do fine. Once you've had the surgery, the things that are tempting won't be so tempting anymore, and you will lose plenty of weight. I had my surgery Dec. 13th and have not lost weight in a week, even though I'm eating so little, but they said the amount of fat went down and the amount of muscle went up. Your body stops losing and adjusts to the lower weight.. its just taking a breather. Good luck to you and may you have a fast healing.

Nerves hits the night before!!! I cried myself to sleep!! And guess what everything was great!! It went so smoothly, I was like, I can't believe I cried myself into a headache over this!! Lol
The weightloss really does hit a stand still sometimes. The first time it happened, I was like 2 weeks post op and didn't loose and I freaked!!! I was in a panic! I had removed 80% of my stomach for nothing! Then 2 days later I dropped several lbs. I have also found that the week before my period (sorry guys) I loose less, sometimes a good bit less. So could that be the case?
Trust me it is so the best decision you could ever make!
I will be praying for God to give you peace of mind and ease your fears, and for a great surgery and recovery!

It is perfectly normal to be nervous! Everyone who has undergone surgery was nervous. It's okay, and you will not regret the outcome!
I am exactly one week post surgery, and I am so proud of myself already! Believe it or not, it is starting to get "fun" for me!

I am having the surgery with Dr. Alvarez in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Monday is my big day...it's sort of sneaked up on me! But I am ready!
